Dear friend, partner, member of the global society,
As I humbly knock on the door of your heart, I cannot help but think of Jean-Paul Sartre, a great French Thinker of the 20th century who once wrote, “Our responsibility in creating ourselves is much greater than what we might have supposed because when we choose, we not only choose for ourselves, but for all mankind”. This statement could not be more relevant, particularly in a time of great tragedies and global challenges like ours. It should and must bring every human’s attention to the indisputable interconnectivity and interdependence existing among all of us, regardless of race, gender, creed, sexual orientation, and birth circumstances. It is a solemn invitation, as well, to you and me, each and every single one of us to a narcissism check-up and treatment, a collective awareness, leadership and responsibility, a pragmatic recognition of our common humanity, origin, threats and destination to take on the big challenges facing our common home, which is our common earth. I understand our local, regional, national, familial, entrepreneurial, ecological, political, religious, scientific and economic decisions, actions, inactions or reactions may seem at times isolated, insignificant or personally profitable. The reality is that we all one way or the other share the ripple consequences, regardless of our zip code and area code.

With that said, as fellow human beings of common origin, brothers and sisters, inhabitants and inheritors of this common earth, we all need to constantly remind ourselves that we are all interconnected and interdependent and therefore condemned to live together, share and protect our common home and humanity. President Kennedy once said, “Men-made problems can only be solved by men”. I could not agree more as it’s becoming increasingly unequivocal that the time has truly come for each and every one of us to come and join hands together in a common effort to save our common home, overcome the global challenges, solve our men-made problems, make a difference between life and death, and create ultimately a better world for our children, our grandchildren and the generations to come. Yes, we can, because we are creators created by the Creator to create, save, protect and restore with and through the Creator, the supreme purpose and instrumental cause of all creation. It is clearly and realistically understood, proven and accepted that you and I individually cannot do everything, solve all problems facing our common earth. But together, with a positive and collective vision fed by passion and compassion translated into deeds, there are no mountains we cannot move or problems we cannot solve. Let’s gather together our constructive personal energies to create the synergy and symbiosis needed to better, protect, and preserve our common home and humanity!
